Gretchen Mol born on November 8th, 1972 in Deep River, Connecticut, USA is a beautiful American actress.

Gretchen Mol was born to a teacher couple, Janet and her husband. She has a brother named Jim Mol, a film editor and director. Mol who studied acting and musical theater at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy is a graduate of William Esper Studio. She later worked as an usher at Angelika Film Center and as a hat check girl at Michael's Restaurant in New York. Around this time she was discovered by a talent scout who got her first a Coca Cola commercial. Mol has also been featured in several magazines including Vanity Fair, W and others.

Gretchen began her acting career in summer stock productions in Vermont; and appeared in several stage plays like "Godspell", "110 In The Shade", "Bus Stop", "No Exit", and she played Jenny in "The Shape of Things" which she reprised the role in its movie version too with the same name in 2003. Mol enjoyed singing and dancing in the Chicago's Broadway production in 2004.

Gretchen Mol made her big-screen debut with "Girl 6" in 1996. She has since appeared in several notable films like "Donnie Brasco" {1997}, "Rounders" {1998}, "Forever Mine" {1999}, "Attraction" {2000}, "Picnic" [Tv Film: 2000], "The Notorious Bettie Page" {2005}, "The Ten" {2007}, "An American Affair" & "Tenure" both in 2009. She had recurring roles too in television series like "Girls Club" {9 episodes: 2002}, "Life on Mars" {10 episodes: 2008-2009}.

Gretchen Mol, the hot Hollywood actress has married film director Kip Williams on June 1st, 2004. They together have a son named Ptolemy John Williams born September 2007.
